Lighting Up the Night: ORACLE Lighting’s Ultimate Revenge Ride at EJS 2025

Lighting Up the Night: ORACLE Lighting’s Ultimate Revenge Ride at EJS 2025

Sometimes the most unforgettable adventures come with unexpected twists—and that’s exactly what happened at this year’s Ultimate Revenge Night Ride during the iconic Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.

What was originally planned as a thrilling evening on Hell’s Revenge, one of Moab’s most legendary trails, took a last-minute turn—literally. Just as attendees gathered at the trailhead, sudden large crowds and tours heading onto the trail meant we had to pivot on the spot. Without missing a beat, our team regrouped and redirected the ride to another Moab classic: Fins and Things. Both are in the Sand Flats area, so it was an easy transition.

And if the glowing Jeeps didn’t already set the tone for the night, the energy of the group and the guidance of our seasoned trail leaders made sure this became one of the most talked-about rides of the entire week.

A Partnership Fueled by Light

The ride was co-sponsored by TYRI Lighting, combining forces with ORACLE Lighting to give attendees a front-row seat to what high-performance trail lighting is really about. As the sun dipped below the red rock horizon, our LED systems lit up the slickrock, proving once again why ORACLE Lighting is a leader in nighttime off-road visibility.

Trail Guides Who Know the Terrain

We were lucky to have three incredible guides lead the night ride:

Eric Ammerman of TYRI Lighting brought not only his industry knowledge but also his passion for adventure and engineering.

Terry Pritchard, a familiar face in the off-road community, offered expert navigation and kept the vibe fun and informative.

Greg Henderson, legendary builder and Jeep enthusiast, brought years of trail experience and a deep understanding of what makes Moab terrain special.

Together, they made sure every driver—whether a seasoned off-roader or first-time Moab adventurer—felt confident and had a blast.

Why Fins and Things?

While Hell’s Revenge has the name recognition and , Fins and Things delivered in a big way. The trail’s combination of steep slickrock climbs, tight turns, and technical descents made it a perfect alternative. And under the glow of premium off-road lighting, it took on an almost cinematic quality.

A Night to Remember

From the spontaneous switch in plans to the glowing convoy of Jeeps carving across the sandstone, the Ultimate Revenge Night Ride embodied what Easter Jeep Safari is all about: community, adaptability, and a shared love for hitting the trail—no matter what comes your way.

We’d like to give a huge thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make this night a success. Special appreciation goes out to TYRI Lighting, Eric Ammerman, Terry Pritchard, and Greg Henderson for making it all possible.

If you missed it this year—don’t worry. We’re already thinking about how to top it in 2026.

Jeepin’ Terry is the Events & Offroad Guru for Oracle Lighting. In his spare time, he is the host of the Jeep Life Podcast and co-founder of the Jeep Enthusiasts of Eastern Pennsylvania, one of the largest Jeep clubs in the state. His obsession with Jeeps started in the 80s with his boss’s big bad blue CJ5. Growing up in the mountains of Tennessee, Terry spent plenty of time on the trails and in the outdoors. His 2017 Wrangler, named Kylo, has been to California and back and everywhere in between, finding trails and adventures everywhere… and constantly asks for more.
