Meet the Kraken: Winner of Our “Your Story, Your Ride” Contest

When we launched our “Your Story, Your Ride” contest, we knew we’d hear from passionate builders, dedicated Jeep and Bronco owners, and fans of unique custom touches. But one entry stood out from the crowd like a mythical beast rising from the deep.

Congratulations to Judd Guilbeau (@shroudedkraken), the proud owner of a 2023 Black Diamond Bronco 2.3L, and our official contest winner!

Judd’s build, inspired by the legendary sea monster Kraken, is a head-turning tribute to his time in the U.S. Navy and his love for octopuses. “As a Navy veteran and someone who loves octopus… why not name my boy the Kraken?” he told us. And honestly, the name fits perfectly.

This beast of a Bronco is more than just good looks—it’s full of personal flair and creativity. One of the most asked-about features? Judd’s custom chain limb risers, an unconventional mod that grabs attention and sparks curiosity everywhere he goes. But for Judd, one of his favorite touches is something simple but bold: his custom illuminated grill letters. “They get just as much attention as the limb risers,” he said—and we believe it.

And of course, when it comes to lighting, Judd’s ride is decked out with ORACLE Lighting upgrades. Every aftermarket lighting mod on the Kraken has our signature touch—and we’re honored to be part of the build.

What’s next for this soon-to-be-legendary Bronco? Judd has big plans: “In the future, I’ll be doing the Fab Fours body kit and would like you guys to help with custom lighting when the time comes.” We can’t wait to team up again and bring even more Kraken-inspired style to life.
