Installation is a straightforward plug-and-play process. No wiring modifications are required for the bulb itself.
- Locate the rear turn signal housing on your 1975-1987 Ford F-150
- Access the bulb socket from behind the tail light assembly (refer to your owner's manual for the access method on your year/trim)
- Twist and remove the existing 1157 halogen bulb
- Install a load equalizer inline with the bulb socket to prevent hyper-flash
- Insert the ORACLE SMD bulb into the socket and twist to lock
- Test the turn signal function before reassembling
- Repeat for the opposite side
