ORACLE CCFL Halo Kits use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting “XE" Technology which delivers a smooth and even halo illumination. Our new “XE" rings are thicker and more sturdy than traditional CCFL tubes making them brighter and more durable. The new “XE" CCFL Inverters also feature a newer updated design. CCFL is a Phosphor-coated glass tube which illuminates when a current is passed through it. The current is input on both ends of the ring and has no polarity. CCFL Halos have an expected of 50,000 hours of continuous use and come with a WARRANTY. CCFL Halos require an external power supply. ORACLE "XE" Power Inverters are included standard in every CCFL Halo Kit system we sell.

ORACLE SMD Halos use a special type of LED; “Surface Mount Diode“. SMD is an advanced type of LED chip that can produce bright/brilliant light output while only consuming a very small amount of power. The SMD chips are installed onto a CAD designed 6 Layer PCB (Printed Circuit Board) which is very sturdy and will not break if pressured. The PCB design can easily be mounted to a headlight housing using the 3M self adhesive tape backing.
