Built in Louisiana, Built for the Trail: ORACLE Flush Mount LED Tail Lights for the Toyota FJ Cruiser

The Toyota FJ Cruiser has earned its place as one of the most loved trucks on the trail. Toyota stopped building it for the U.S. after 2014, but FJ owners never stopped building theirs. Lift kits, bumpers, sliders, roof racks — these trucks get better with age.

The rear of the truck, though, has always been stuck in 2007. The factory tail lights stick out from the body, and the reverse light barely lights up the bumper.

Today that changes. Meet the ORACLE Lighting Flush Mount LED Tail Lights for the 2007–2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser (part 8212-504) — designed and engineered in the USA, and assembled right here in America at our facility in Metairie, Louisiana.

Engineered and Assembled in the USA — Right Here in Louisiana

These tail lights were designed and engineered in the USA. The primary housing components are manufactured right here, and every assembly is put together and inspected by the ORACLE team in Metairie, Louisiana.

That matters for three reasons:

  • Fitment we control. When the housing is made and assembled under our own roof, we're the ones checking that it lines up with the FJ's body the way it should.
  • Quality you can trace. Every pair is assembled and inspected by our team before it ships. If something isn't right, it doesn't leave the building.

We're proud of where we come from. Building here is how we keep that promise to every FJ owner who bolts these on.

Designed to sit tight

The first thing you'll notice is what's missing: the bulk. These lights follow the FJ's original body lines and sit tighter against the truck than the factory units. The result is a clean, modern OEM+ look that makes the whole rear end look newer.

It's not just about looks. A tail light that doesn't stick out is a tail light that's less likely to meet a branch, a rock or a tight trail obstacle. If you wheel your FJ, you know how often the back corners take a hit.

Made to shine wide

Each side puts out up to 6,720 lumens of combined output and up to 84 watts from high-output red, amber and white LEDs. Running lights, brake lights and turn signals are bright and unmistakable, so drivers behind you see you sooner.

The standout is the reverse light. A dedicated white LED module throws a wide flood beam that lights up the area behind your truck — whether you're backing down a dark trail, hooking up a trailer or setting up camp after sundown.

Built for the places you take it

We built these lights for creek crossings, desert heat and washboard roads.

  • ASA outer housings — an automotive-grade material that resists UV, weather, heat and impact.
  • Die-cast aluminum LED modules with UV-resistant powder coating for heat management and long life.
  • Polycarbonate lenses that stand up to impact and protect the LEDs.
  • IP68 rated against dust and water.
  • 9–32V DC operation with overvoltage protection for dependable electrical performance.
  • LEDs rated up to 50,000 hours.
