Refined Inside and Out: A Closer Look at Our V2 Flush Mount Tail Lights
Back in March, we introduced a production evolution across our Flush Mount LED Tail Light lineup. As LED driver and power-supply technology has advanced, we've folded those improvements directly into current production, making an already trusted design even more refined and dependable.
If you're shopping for Flush Mount Tail Lights right now, here's what you're actually getting.

So What Changed?
Nothing about the install, the fitment, or the price has changed. Instead, we've upgraded everything about what's happening inside the housing. We call it Enhanced Diffusion & Electrical Protection. Two areas got the upgrade: how the light looks, and how the electronics perform.
1. Smoother, Cleaner Light Output
The most visible change is the new double-diffusion architecture. It's designed to soften and even out the LED output, cutting down on hotspots and giving you a cleaner, more uniform glow both as a running light and a brake light. The flush-mounted look you already love stays exactly the same; the light coming out of it just looks more refined.

2. Built for Modern Vehicle Electronics
This is the upgrade you won't see, but it matters just as much (arguably more). The internal components now include:
- Enhanced surge protection against voltage spikes
- Improved CAN-bus compatibility for late-model vehicle systems
- Over-voltage, under-voltage, and reverse polarity protection
Translation: if you're running aftermarket accessories, auxiliary power setups, or anything that puts extra demand on your electrical system, these tail lights are built to handle it without flinching.
3. A Warranty That Backs It Up
We doubled the warranty from 1 year to 2 years, which is a direct reflection of the confidence we have in the upgraded internal architecture. When you build something more durable, you stand behind it longer.
4. Zero Price Increase
Same SKU. Same packaging. Same MSRP. You're getting a more capable product for the exact same investment you'd have made a year ago. We think that's how product evolution should work.

Already Running Flush Mounts? You're Set.
If you've already got our Flush Mount Tail Lights installed, your set is fully supported and built to perform exactly as designed. This is simply the next chapter for a product that's already proven itself on trails and pavement alike. As better components become available, we build them into what we're already making.
If you're due for an upgrade anyway, or building out a new rig, current production gives you all of the above standard. Either way, you're covered.
