No load equalizer is required for roof marker applications. Load equalizers are only needed when SMD bulbs are used in turn signal circuits.

Installation is a simple plug-and-play process that takes seconds. No tools or wiring modifications required.

  • Locate the roof marker light housings on your 1978-1979 Ford F-150
  • Access the bulb sockets (refer to your owner's manual for the access method on your trim)
  • Pull out the existing T10 incandescent bulbs
  • Insert the ORACLE SMD bulbs - they seat in the same sockets with no modification
  • Test the marker light function before reassembling
  • Repeat for the opposite side using the second bulb in the pair
No load equalizer is needed for this application.

These lights were very easy to install make sure your taillights are good before removing the covers , we all know they tend to crack. I ordered new taillights from LMR before hand to be on the safe side and give it an all new appearance.

Looks amazing. Only thing I wish either that when the turn signals flashed it was all red or just where the stock turn signal position was sequential and the rest just stayed a brake light.

the vega7 is a pretty sweet light

the vega7 is a pretty sweet light. extremely bright, more of a spotlight then floodlight but that is okay. these lights are actually modular as well I see, puts Bajas design of the lp6 to shame with their modular marketing tactic. but I guess most lights are modular. anyways I would love to see a flood lens if that is ever possible. interchangeable preferably. but great quality and I am very impressed. I will follow back in a year when I can give it a true UV test.

Installation wasn’t difficult but I had to source and make my own wiring to get these to work properly but the light output on these pods are INSANE. The spot light intensity and range these throw out are spectacular.
