Installation is a straightforward plug-and-play process. No tools or wiring modifications are required.
- Locate the front turn signal housing on your 2001-2015 Toyota Tacoma
- Access the bulb socket from behind the housing (refer to your owner's manual for access method)
- Twist and remove the existing 3157 halogen bulb
- Insert the ORACLE SMD bulb into the socket and twist to lock
- Test the turn signal function before reassembling
- If hyper-flash occurs, install a compatible load equalizer inline with the bulb socket
Load Equalizer Note: Turn signal circuits detect bulb resistance. SMD LEDs draw significantly less current than halogens, which can trigger hyper-flash. A load equalizer restores the correct resistance to the circuit.
