ORACLE's 1157 SMD LED bulb is a plug-and-play upgrade over the factory 1157 incandescent bulb. The 5050 SMD chip technology produces vibrant light with sharp, saturated hues while consuming only 1/10th of the power of the factory bulb. The quick-fire response means the bulb illuminates faster than incandescent - a critical safety advantage in brake light applications where reaction time matters.

Each bulb features 18 LEDs across 3 chips for even, consistent illumination. The 5050 SMD chips are rated for 100,000 hours of continuous use. The 1157 is a dual-filament socket (BAY15D) used for combined stop/tail functions - this bulb is a direct drop-in replacement with no wiring modifications required.

⚠️ Turn signal use: When used as a turn signal, a Load Equalizer (50W / 6 Ohm) is required to prevent rapid-flash (hyper-flash). Not required for brake, reverse, or running light applications.

Direct plug-and-play replacement - remove the factory 1157 bulb and insert the ORACLE SMD bulb into the same socket. No wiring modifications required. Estimated install time: ~15 minutes.

  • Access the brake light housing from inside the trunk or through the tail light assembly
  • Remove the factory 1157 bulb from the socket (push and twist to release)
  • Insert the ORACLE LED bulb into the socket (push and twist to lock)
  • Test the brake light before reassembly

Why look elsewhere?

FINALLY AT LAST!!!

Super excited to finally get a set of these been waiting about a year for them to come out with the lensless lights so I could finally buy these so the headlights and tail lights would match. Now just sitting waiting for the headlights, but I definitely love the way these look. The install was super simple. I know they’re gonna get compliments cause I’m the only person in my town that has them.

Amazing kit

Amazing kit came with everything needed for install out the box. The led look so good at night and I love the sequential turn signals. If you wanna add a modern touch to your foxbody then this is a must in my opinion

Awesome modern look

These lights look great! LED's really make the older lenses pop. Install video was great. Follow it for a quick and easy install. Took me less that 2 hours. Resistors included were not needed for me.
