ORACLE LED Replacement Bulbs are engineered as direct OEM substitutes, delivering a noticeable upgrade in brightness and response time over factory halogen bulbs. The 3157 fitment is a common dual-filament bulb used in brake, tail, and turn signal applications across a wide range of vehicles - including the 2012-2015 Toyota Tacoma brake light position.
This bulb utilizes 5050 SMD technology, producing vibrant light with sharp hues while consuming only a fraction of the power of the factory bulb. The 5050 SMD chips are rated at 100,000 hours for continuous use and illuminate faster than incandescent bulbs - an important safety advantage in brake light applications.
Note: If using this bulb in a turn signal application, a Load Equalizer is required to prevent rapid-flash. For brake light, reverse light, or running light use, no load equalizer is needed.
