The standard reverse lights in the ORACLE Gladiator Flush Tail Lights provide strong illumination directly behind the vehicle. However, like most reverse lights, their beam pattern is concentrated primarily toward the center and may leave limited illumination around the rear corners of the Jeep.
The ORACLE Lighting Auxiliary Light Pods add a second high-output LED to each tail light, using the location normally occupied by the factory blind-spot monitoring sensor. Because the auxiliary pods are positioned farther toward the outer corners of the Gladiator, they supplement the standard reverse lights with a significantly wider field of illumination - helping light the areas beside the vehicle that are visible through the side-view mirrors but may otherwise remain difficult to see at night.
Instead of adding external cube lights to the bumper or mounting auxiliary lights underneath the vehicle, these pods integrate directly into compatible ORACLE Flush Tail Lights. This maintains the clean, low-profile appearance of the 5882-Series tail lights while adding useful rear-area lighting in an otherwise unused location.
The result is better peripheral visibility while backing up on dark trails, around campsites, near trailers, or in poorly illuminated parking and work areas.

Are these replacement reverse lights?
No. These are supplemental auxiliary lights that work alongside the standard reverse lights in the ORACLE Flush Tail Lights. Your original reverse lights stay in place.
Will these fit factory Gladiator tail lights?
No. They are designed specifically for ORACLE 5882-Series Gladiator Flush Tail Lights.
Will these work with every version of the ORACLE Flush Tail Lights?
Yes. They are compatible with all ORACLE Gladiator Flush Tail Lights in the 5882 Series, provided the vehicle does not use factory blind-spot monitoring sensors in that location.
Are both sides included?
Yes. The kit includes one driver-side pod and one passenger-side pod.
Are the pods interchangeable from side to side?
No. The pods are designed for specific driver- and passenger-side positions.
Will these fit every Gladiator trim level?
Yes. There are no trim-level exclusions as long as the Gladiator has compatible ORACLE Flush Tail Lights and does not have factory blind-spot sensors.
Can I install these on a Gladiator with factory blind-spot monitoring?
Doing so is not recommended. The auxiliary pods occupy the same location as the blind-spot sensors and cannot be installed while retaining the sensors in their intended positions.
Are these plug and play?
No. These lights require custom 12-volt wiring and an external switch or controller.
Can I connect them directly to the reverse-light wiring?
Direct connection is not recommended. The Jeep's CAN bus-controlled lighting system may detect the additional load and interrupt power to the circuit.
How should they be powered?

Can I use them as work lights?
Yes. Independent control allows the pods to be used as auxiliary reverse lights, work lights, campsite lights, scene lights, or recovery lighting.
What is the difference between 5882-W-PD and 5882-AW-PD?
The 5882-W-PD provides high-output white auxiliary lighting. The 5882-AW-PD provides the same white light with the addition of an independently controlled amber backlight that can be used as a rear marker or chase light during group trail rides.
